Musical Theater

The musical theater classes for children ages 5 - 10 years combines music with drama. Children will work on vocal development and learn basic acting techniques through the use of theater games.

During the course of the semester we will assign parts to act out 1 or 2 short fairy tales. Children will be given assistance with learning simple lines, stage direction, and songs that will be sung as a group or in some cases individually.

We will also be making simple costumes and props. Children will perform for their parents on the last day of the semester.

Class size is limited to 8 participants. A semester is 16 weeks.

Cost of class includes a tape or CD of songs that will be sung in the musical and costume materials. Children may be asked to wear a certain color of clothing to go along with their costume.

Tuition: $140.40 if paid in full or $39.00 per month
